Latest News The 2006 to 2007 year will start at the beginning of October 2006 and the Events section will give details of how Advisors, Link Teachers and Achievers have all got underway. Companies will start to meet during week commencing 9th October. We will bring you details of Company Names as soon as they are registered - information on products, hopefully, won't be too far behind. |

Once the year gets underway companies will work hard to decide upon a Company Name, what products to produce and how to market them. They will elect their Company functional Directors, draw up a business plan and capitalise their business. Achievers are not totally on their own. They have Business Advisors in attendance at every meeting who will act as consultants - however, they will not run the company for the achievers. There will be also be visits from an external advisor to assist in areas where experience over the years has shown specific problem areas. Material from these visits will be available for download from the Resources Page . As soon as
all the preliminaries are out the way, production can get under way. There
are many Christmas Trade Fairs locally to aim for and on the 28th January
2007 there is the West Kent Trade Fair in Royal Victoria Place, Tunbridge
Wells (To be confirmed). Trading for a complete Sunday in this prestigious
venue should help their sales targets. The best Company competing will
walk away with the coveted Institute of Directors (Kent Branch) trophy. |
